Before You Begin

• You agree to undergo an affordability assessment.

To streamline the process, have these documents ready:

• A copy of your Green ID Book or ID Card.
• Your latest 3 months’ bank statements.
• 6 months’ salary slips.
• Proof of marriage certificate (if applicable).
• Your SARS income tax number.

Your homebuying journey with Reliant Homes:

1. Affordability assessment
2. Make an appointment.
3. Choose plot, fill in OTP
4. We submit your OTP to our bond originator, and she submits to all the bank on your behalf.
5. You only accept the approval once you are happy.
6. You then go to the lawyers. (which are included in the purchase price)
7. You then come to site to discuss sketch & finishes.
8. Discuss architect plan
9. We submit plan to Drakenstein, then apply for NHBRC certificate
10. Then we can start to build.
11. Lawyers go for registration.
12. When the office gives permission, we meet up again to do your snag inspection.
13. Site will apply for certificates.
14. You get the keys to your brand-new home.
